Roughly 90 per cent of teachers in New Zealand are being trained in a flawed university system, according to The New Zealand Initiative.

”I absolutely do not mean to dump on teachers,” cognitive psychologist Michael Johnston says. “I’m saying they’ve been let down by the training they’ve been provided with by universities.”
