Ballarat school introduces 'sensory room' to help students self-regulate

For children with sensory processing issues, the world might not make a lot of sense and school will be a challenge most days.

Alfredton Primary School has introduced a new sensory room, to help overstimulated or over-whelmed students to self regulate and get back on track for learning.

Their difficulties processing sensory information may even make the world a frightening place.
