Teachers' voices drowned out by activists and outside experts

Teachers should be granted the right to comment on public policy matters affecting the profession, according to Ballarat Clarendon College deputy principal and author Greg Ashman.

The issue runs deeper than just who comments on education policy decisions in the media, Ashman said – teachers have also been shut out of managing their own profession.
