Physical Education - the missing link

The recently released Victorian Department of Education and Training report The state of Victoria’s children: resilience, vulnerability and disadvantage paints an alarming picture of our children’s levels of physical activity, with only 10.2% meeting the Australian Physical Activity Guidelines, 2009. Physical activity has been decreasing and sedentary behaviour has been increasing for some time. What can we do to help our children live active and healthy lives?
