Govt hones in on ITE with divisive new plan to lift school standards
The Federal Government has unveiled a contested new plan to lift school standards, which includes a raft of changes to initial teacher education and a record investment in the Teach for Australia program.

Under the new plan announced by Acting Education Minister Stuart Robert, $13.4 million will go toward making changes to teaching accreditation standards, including a return to the one-year Graduate Diploma of Education.
