Govt announces major early childhood education skills boost

More than 80,000 early childhood educators are set to benefit from a $72.4 million boost to their skills and training in the upcoming federal budget.

From today, eligible providers can apply to share in $18 million in funding for grants of up to $900,000 to establish new day care centres in areas experiencing limited supply.
