Fitzroy principal's teaching registration suspended over potential risk to children

The principal of an independent primary school in Melbourne who repeatedly breached public health directives and invited families to send their children on-site during lockdown has had his teaching registration suspended by the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT), pending an investigation.

Timothy Berryman, principal of Fitzroy Community School, said this morning that he plans to fight the temporary suspension.
