End appears nigh for country's charter schools

It looks like the beginning of the end for charter schools in New Zealand, after Minister for Education Chris Hipkins introduced legislation on Thursday to repeal the legislation governing them.

The repeal of the charter school legislation was a key election policy for the Labour party in 2017.
