Embattled Shore School principal dismissed following divisive leadership

Embattled Shore School headmaster Tim Petterson has reportedly been dismissed, following a review which found “leadership renewal” was needed at the elite private school.

In March, Petterson apologised to Shore staff for the “pain” and hurt he’d caused, and admitted that his words had caused sadness and anger among staff.

Petterson, just the eighth headmaster of Shore in more than 130 years, will be replaced by former St Andrew’s Cathedral ...
