Vicious circle of ‘care more, do more’: Report looks at wellbeing in schools
A new report from the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) has captured the critical state of wellbeing in schools and identified the specific resources and programs that work best to bolster the psychological and physical health of students and staff.
“When students are vulnerable and have diverse needs, educators may feel pressure to ‘fix’ problems for students and a sense of guilt when this cannot be achieved," the report noted.
