Amidst the sometimes heated recent discussions about the use of the Aboriginal flag and the singing of the national anthem, it seems that much of the conversation about reconciliation and Aboriginal culture and heritage has been overtaken by big picture issues and agendas.

Local language teams and communities are working hard to ensure the words, sentence construction and pronunciation of their own Aboriginal language is not lost.
