Viviane Robinson is one of New Zealand’s most prominent and respected authorities on school leadership. As Distinguished Professor in the Faculty of Education at The University of Auckland, and as Academic Director of its Centre for Educational Leadership from 2008-2018, she has authored numerous articles and several books on school leadership and improvement. She also consults on student-centred leadership and leadership development to governments and organisations around the world. Now retired from the university, she spoke to EducationHQ about what’s next on her to-do list and why New Zealand needs to catch up when it comes to school leadership.
