Looking for flexible part-time work in Early Years?

Veritas Education is recruiting Nursery Support Assistants for welcoming nursery settings across the Leeds area.

We are looking for both qualified practitioners and unqualified candidates with previous experience working with children. A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is preferred, but experience and a genuine passion for working with children are also highly valued.

The Role

As a Nursery Support Assistant, you will:

  • Support practitioners with the day-to-day care of children
  • Help create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment
  • Assist with fun and engaging play activities
  • Encourage children's confidence, independence, and wellbeing
  • Support children's learning and development
  • Build positive relationships with children and the wider nursery team
  • Follow EYFS, safeguarding, and nursery procedures

    • We're Looking For

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification - preferred
  • Unqualified candidates with experience working with children are encouraged to apply
  • Previous childcare or nursery experience is desirable
  • A caring, reliable, and enthusiastic approach
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting young children
