Looking for part-time work in Early Years?

Veritas Education is recruiting Nursery Assistants for welcoming nursery settings across the Leeds area.

We are looking for candidates who are either Level 2 or Level 3 qualified, or unqualified candidates with previous childcare experience.

If you are caring, enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about working with children, this could be a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience and become part of a supportive nursery team.

The Role

As a Nursery Assistant, you will:

  • Support practitioners with the day-to-day care of children
  • Help with fun and engaging play activities
  • Create a safe, caring, and positive environment
  • Support children's learning and development
  • Build positive relationships with children and staff
  • Encourage children's confidence and independence
  • Follow nursery, EYFS, and safeguarding procedures

    • We're Looking For

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification preferred
  • Unqualified candidates must have previous childcare experience
  • A caring, reliable, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for working with children
  • Previous nursery experience is desirable
