Veritas Education are currently recruiting English Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in the Bury area, with roles available immediately and for September starts.

We are partnered with a number of supportive and well-established schools looking for passionate English specialists to support with:

  • Day-to-day supply cover
  • Short-term assignments
  • Long-term roles with potential for permanent opportunities

    • ???? The Role Includes:

  • Delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
  • Teaching literature and language, supporting reading and writing development
  • Following school schemes of work or delivering pre-planned lessons
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively
  • Inspiring students and fostering a positive learning environment

    • ✅ We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS) or experienced unqualified English teachers
  • Strong subject knowledge in English (Literature and Language)
  • Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Reliable, flexible, and committed professionals
