About the Role:
As Director, Disability, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of key reform initiatives, including through:
- Contributing to national and state-level discussions and negotiations related to resourcing and programs for students with disability.
- Working across divisions and with regions and schools to provide schools the tools they need to support students with disability.
- In this role, you will provide expert advice to senior executives and the Minister on education policy and matters related to students with disability. You will also represent the department in whole-of-government meetings and forums, ensuring work aligns with the department's priorities and commitments.

About You:
In this role you will bring:
- A strong background in policy development and implementation.
- A deep understanding of best practice in supporting students with disability and the ability to translate this into practical initiatives for schools and students.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to represent the department at high-level meetings and forums.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver outcomes aligned with strategic priorities.
- Exceptional communication skills including through high-level briefing and synthesis of complex information to be suitable for a wide range of audiences.
