Specialist SEN School | Full-Time | Long-Term

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference to children with complex additional needs?

We are recruiting for a specialist SEN school in the BD9 area of Bradford that is looking for a confident, caring and resilient Teaching Assistant to join their team.

You will be supporting children with a range of complex additional needs, providing both learning and care support throughout the school day.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
  • Helping children access learning and classroom activities
  • Supporting pupils with complex SEN and additional care needs
  • Providing personal care confidently and respectfully
  • Supporting communication, independence and engagement
  • Helping pupils regulate and manage their individual needs
  • Working closely with teachers and other support staff to provide consistent care and support

    • We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN, complex needs or additional care needs
  • Is confident providing personal care
  • Is patient, caring, reliable and resilient
  • Can build positive relationships with children who require a high level of support
  • Is comfortable working within a specialist school environment
  • Is looking for a full-time, long-term opportunity
