The Australian science curriculum is an outlier on the global stage, lacking the content, depth and breadth needed to enable students and teachers to succeed, a new damning new report has found.

The Learning First analysis found Australia's science curriculum includes much less content, is poorly sequenced, and lacks specificity of content compared to other comparable school systems worldwide.
