Elite private school head appointed chair of ACARA board

Derek Scott, principal of elite Melbourne private school Haileybury, has been appointed chair of the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA).

Scott replaces outgoing chair Belinda Robinson, who was appointed in 2018.
