Derek Scott, principal of elite Melbourne private school Haileybury, has been appointed chair of the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA).

Scott replaces outgoing chair Belinda Robinson, who was appointed in 2018.

Scott has been CEO and principal of Haileybury since 2008, and was named the 2019 School Principal of the Year ...
