Effective school leadership means cultivating a positive culture
You cannot create a positive, productive workplace if you are negative. To improve your school’s results, school leaders need to explore strategies to cultivate a positive culture and develop their own capabilities. The leadership shapes the atmosphere of the workplace. How they speak and treat people will have a significant impact upon how people relate to each other. The actions, decisions and behaviours of leaders can have a direct and significant effect on others in the organisation. Leadership is about empowerment and collaboration, not domination.
