AEU slams call for more school chaplains
The Australian Education Union (AEU) has warned it would “fiercely reject” any expansion of the school chaplaincy program, following reports that some Coalition MPs are calling for the program to receive greater government support.
AEU head Correna Haythorpe said that funding for the program could be better spent elsewhere.
