The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll support children aged 0-5 years, helping to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, play and develop in line with the EYFS framework.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting children's learning and development through fun, engaging and play-based activities
  • Assisting with daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care and outdoor play
  • Supporting children's social, emotional and communication development
  • Helping to create a safe, clean and stimulating environment
  • Working as part of a team to meet the individual needs of each child
  • Building positive relationships with children, staff and parents/carers

    • We're Looking For

    You don't necessarily need a formal Early Years qualification - we're interested in people who have the right attitude, enthusiasm and commitment.

    Ideally, you'll have:

  • Experience working with children in a nursery, school, childcare or similar setting (desirable, but not essential)
  • A genuine passion for working with young children
  • A caring, patient and positive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A flexible and reliable attitude
  • A willingness to learn and develop within the Early Years sector
