Position Information

Cumberland High School is a comprehensive high school, with a population of approximately 1200 students, located in Carlingford. The school has a diverse cultural population including 73.9% non-English speaking background and 57 different languages. Specific Selection Criteria
  1. Approval to teach  Legal Studies  and Business Studies
  2. Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively within a Social Science faculty with evidence of developing quality teaching and learning programs, lessons and resources. 
  3. Demonstrated ability to use effective classroom management skills and wellbeing practices to create a classroom environment that is engaging, inclusive and fosters a culture of high expectations.


 

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
