Veritas Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and caring Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioners to support a range of welcoming nursery settings across Leeds.

We are working with multiple nursery sites throughout the Leeds area that are looking for both full-time and part-time staff to join their teams. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate early years professionals seeking flexible working options within supportive and nurturing environments.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning and development, creating engaging activities, and ensuring every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children's learning and development through play-based activities
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Assisting with observations and learning journeys
  • Creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
  • Supporting daily routines and nursery activities
  • Following safeguarding and welfare procedures at all times

    • Requirements:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Previous nursery or childcare experience
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A positive and enthusiastic approach
  • A genuine passion for working with children
