Nursery Practitioner - Level 2/3 Qualified or Experienced Unqualified Staff Wanted

Veritas Education is working with a number of fantastic nursery settings across Leeds that are looking for enthusiastic and caring Nursery Practitioners to join their teams.

We're keen to hear from Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Early Years professionals, but we also welcome applications from unqualified candidates who have previous nursery or childcare experience and a genuine passion for working with young children.

Whether you're an experienced practitioner looking for your next challenge or someone with hands-on childcare experience looking to continue your early years journey, there are exciting opportunities available across a variety of supportive nursery environments.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting children aged 0-5 in their learning and development
  • Creating fun, engaging, and stimulating play experiences
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Helping children develop confidence, independence, and social skills
  • Supporting daily nursery routines and activities
  • Maintaining a safe, caring, and nurturing environment
  • Contributing to observations and children's developmental progress

    • What We're Looking For

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification desirable
  • Previous nursery, childcare, or early years experience preferred
  • A warm, positive, and energetic approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's development
  • Understanding of the EYFS framework is beneficial
