Veritas Education is delighted to be working with a welcoming nursery in the Pudsey/Farsley area to recruit a passionate and dedicated Qualified Early Years Practitioner.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and nurturing nursery setting where children's development is at the heart of everything they do. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning and development, creating engaging experiences, and helping to provide a safe and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children's learning and development through play-based activities
  • Acting as a key person for a group of children
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Assisting with observations, assessments, and learning journeys
  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
  • Supporting daily routines and nursery activities
  • Following safeguarding and welfare procedures at all times

    • Requirements:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Previous nursery or early years experience
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A caring, positive, and enthusiastic approach
  • Passionate about supporting children's development and wellbeing
