Veritas Education is currently working in partnership with a number of secondary schools across Kirklees to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher for immediate and upcoming roles. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a real impact on pupils' progress and attainment in Mathematics.

The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Assessing, tracking, and reporting on pupil progress
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies
  • Contributing to the wider school community where appropriate

    • The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Maths within UK secondary schools
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths education
  • Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A professional, reliable, and adaptable approach
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
