Mixed 11-16 Secondary School | Middlesbrough Start: September 2026 or sooner

Salary: MPS/UPS (England & Wales)

We're working with a welcoming, mixed 11-16 secondary school in Middlesbrough seeking a Maths Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis from September 2026, or earlier for the right candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and committed teacher of Maths to join a supportive department with a clear focus on high standards, consistency and positive outcomes for pupils.

The role:

  • Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
  • Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
  • Supporting pupils of mixed ability to make strong progress
  • Contributing to a collaborative and committed Maths department

    • The school is looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS (or is on track to achieve it)
  • Has experience teaching Maths in a secondary setting (including ECTs)
  • Sets high expectations for behaviour and achievement
  • Is keen to be part of a school that values teamwork and professional development
