Veritas Education are currently recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic Lower Key Stage 2 Teacher (Year 4) on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Clitheroe, Lancashire.

This is a full-time permanent position starting in September 2026. The school is a well-regarded, inclusive primary setting with a strong community ethos and a positive, supportive learning environment.

The school was recently graded Good by Ofsted, with inspectors recognising strong leadership, positive pupil behaviour, and a broad and balanced curriculum that supports pupils' academic progress and personal development. Teaching across Key Stage 2 was noted as effective, with pupils making steady progress and demonstrating positive attitudes towards learning.

The school promotes a collaborative culture where staff work closely together to ensure high standards of teaching and learning across all year groups.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2
  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Year 4 lessons
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills

  • Plan and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum
  • Work effectively as part of a supportive team
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
