Position Information
Kingsgrove High School is a dynamic comprehensive high school with a coeducational enrolment of 750 students, including 85% of students from a background where English is an additional language or dialect. The school supports students in academic achievement, the arts, sport, student leadership, co-curricular activities, and community service. The school offers a broad curriculum catering for all learners with emphasis on quality teaching, student engagement and academic achievements. The school will be establishing a HPGE class for Year 7 2027.

General Selection Criteria
Specific Selection Criteria
1. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with the executive team to lead, manage and implement initiatives that address whole school strategic directions and improve learning and engagement for all students.
2. Evidence of highly developed interpersonal, communication and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to build the capacity of the PDHPE faculty to embed a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement, and nurture positive, quality relationships across the wider school community.
3. Demonstrated capacity to lead the PDHPE faculty to plan, implement and differentiate curriculum, assessment and innovative teaching and learning programs.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
