Position Information
Cammeraygal High School is a dynamic, comprehensive, coeducational 7-12 dual-campus school, with the two campuses located at Pacific Highway and West Street, Crows Nest. The school is a cohesive, two-campus institution catering to all students from Years 7 to 12. It commenced in 2015 with an initial enrolment of up to 120 Year 7 students and has continued to enrol other cohorts each ensuing year. From 2021, Years 7, 8, and 9 cohorts are enrolled on the Pacific Highway site, while Years 10, 11, and 12 attend the West Street site, with an enrolment capacity of 920 students that was reached in 2025.
Cammeraygal High School has a highly engaged parent community that continues to support the school's initiatives, priorities, and innovative programs, which include high-quality pedagogical practices, creative and performing arts, STEM, and student leadership programs. The school continues to develop a collaborative culture that provides learning opportunities for all students. General Selection Criteria
Specific Selection Criteria
Demonstrated capacity to lead the development, implementation and evaluation of innovative PDHPE faculty programming for Years 7-12, with the capacity to effectively engage a diverse range of learners.
Capacity in leading staff with diverse teaching experience and working as an integral member of the school executive.
Demonstrated ability to establish a cohesive culture and to effectively manage the teaching and learning challenges inherent in a multi campus comprehensive high school.
Capacity to provide effective leadership, management, and oversight of the whole school sports program, ensuring its consistent and efficient operation in alignment with departmental policies and school priorities.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
