About the Role

As Head of Special Education Services, you will lead inclusion practices across the school to promote equity and excellence for students with disability. Working collaboratively with staff, families and support personnel, you will drive inclusive approaches that improve student engagement, participation and learning outcomes.

You will lead inclusion work through PLRs, coordinate support structures and strengthen school-wide capability in responding to diverse learning and behavioural needs. The role requires an instructional leader who can support the implementation of evidence-based strategies, monitor progress through regular review processes and ensure students receive appropriate adjustments aligned with relevant legislation and departmental policy.

You will also support the development of high-quality teaching practices, oversee timetabling arrangements that maximise support for learners, and contribute to a culture where inclusion is embedded across all aspects of school life.
