Step Into Your Next Chapter:

There are two Head of Department, Student Engagement positions available.

One position has a strong focus on engagement with learning through digital technology. Applicants with experience in leading digital learning at a whole school level would be highly regarded for this position.

The second position has a strong focus on engagement with learning through the Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) Framework and Fisher's Dimensions of Belonging.

Applicants with experience in leading PBL at a whole school level will be highly regarded for the second position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide leadership and guidance for the implementation of innovative measures aimed at improving student learning outcomes and attendance in schools where a significant percentage of students may have a disadvantaged background, ensuring quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Where requested, prepare all data returns for senior management.
  • Monitor students' individual performance and behaviour and develop and implement intervention strategies where necessary.
  • Communicate and work with parents, higher education institutes and State Schools Division to improve learning outcomes, student achievements and attendance.
