Who We Are:
Lockyer District State High School is a school of around 1000 students, located at Gatton in the picturesque Lockyer Valley.

You will play a vital role in developing the quality of teaching and learning and nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.
The successful applicant will, as HOD Science, be responsible for leading:
- Leadership of the Science and Agricultural Science Departments, to design curriculum and cross curricula learning experiences that meet the requirements of the Australian Curriculum V9, QCAA, and AQTF including embedding the pedagogy toolkit and moderation practices.
- Oversight of the management of the farm facilities and animals
- Academic Excellence Program, and other extracurricular programs
- Capability building of teachers and faculty staff
- Operationalisation of the Faculty Improvement Plan and manage the Faculty budget
