Your opportunity:
Leading the Whole School Approach to Pedagogy and the Year 7-10 Curriculum plan
- Lead the consolidation of a whole-school approach to pedagogy, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practices and the school's strategic priorities
- Refine and articulate a clear, consistent pedagogical model for implementation across all faculties
- Design and deliver targeted professional development to build staff capability and consistency in applying the agreed pedagogies
- Support teachers to embed high-impact Tier 1 instructional practices in everyday classroom teaching
- Strengthen instructional clarity and consistency across the school to improve student learning outcomes
- Implementing and leading curriculum and assessment quality assurance processes across all faculties within the QCAA P-10 Planning App.
Leading the school-wide implementation and review of the Collegial Engagement Framework, including:
- Supporting Heads of Department and staff to embed meaningful collegial engagement practices (e.g., peer observation, instructional coaching, feedback cycles)
- Ensuring the framework drives collaborative professional growth and improved classroom practice
- Developing processes to monitor and evaluate the impact of collegial engagement on teaching quality and student outcomes
- Leading professional development sessions and reflective opportunities to build staff confidence and consistency in implementation of evidence based collegial engagement strategies.
Leading and supporting the school-wide rollout of digital pedagogies, including:
- Collaborating with leaders and staff to ensure alignment between QLearn use and curriculum, assessment, pedagogy and reporting practices.
- Developing and delivering targeted professional development to build staff capability and confidence in the platform.
- Supporting curriculum teams to integrate QLearn effectively into teaching and learning programs across all faculties.
- Maintaining a whole-school QLearn implementation plan that phases in platform usage and tracks staff uptake.
- Lead the development, implementation and review of the school's AI policy and procedures.
