This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to helping students develop confidence in reading, writing, and communication.

Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we would love to hear from candidates who can engage learners and deliver outstanding English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach Key Stage 5.

The Role

As an English Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons.
  • Inspire students to achieve their full academic potential.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and English department.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.

    • The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge across English Language and Literature.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • A passion for inspiring young people and raising attainment.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
