Position Information
Molong Central School has an enrolment of 403 students from K-12, with 24.3% identifying as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander. Students come from a diverse range of socio-economic backgrounds, making equity a priority for the school community. The school offers a broad curriculum, and its unique K-12 environment allows staff and students to share opportunities across both the Primary and Secondary sections.
The school's results reflect consistency across all Key Learning Areas (KLAs), with a strong emphasis on personal achievement. The school currently employs 48 teachers and 30 administration and support staff, including additional temporary staff funded through school-based initiatives to better support student learning.

1. Successful teaching experience with the capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning, and classroom practice
2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment, and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs
3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams
4. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff, and parents
5. Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning
6. Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy
Specific Selection Criteria
In addition to the general selection criteria,
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex schools by implementing strategic initiatives that drive measurable, continuous improvement through strong organisation, communication, and feedback.
Proven ability to provide strong leadership in pedagogy, program development and authentic assessment with an emphasis on curriculum differentiation and student growth.
Proven high-impact leadership in school operations, with strong communication, organisation and management skills to oversee complex daily functions in a large, diverse, K-12 school setting.
Evidence of highly visible, emotionally intelligent leadership and collaborative teamwork with staff, executive teams, and the wider community to foster a culture of high expectations, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
