Step Into Your Next Chapter:
As a newly appointed permanent Deputy Principal, you will work alongside an expanding executive leadership team including Principal, Prep to Year 1 Deputy Principal, Year 2 to Year 3 Deputy Principal, Year 4 to Year 6 Deputy Principal, Head of Department (Curriculum), Head of Special Education Services and Coach.
Everleigh State School's major focus is developing staff capability with Australian Curriculum Version 9 and implementing Structure Literacy from Prep to Year 6.
In addition to this, you will lead and manage other strategic and operational priorities aligned to the school's and department's strategic plans.
This role will commence as soon as possible to fill a permanently vacated position.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Deputise for the Principal when required.
- Uphold the deputy principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
