Cover Supervisors - Day-to-Day Supply

Veritas Education are currently seeking reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work on a day-to-day supply basis across a range of secondary schools in the Rochdale and Bury areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience, build confidence in schools, or secure flexible work around other commitments.

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Support students in completing their work
  • Work across a variety of subjects at KS3 and KS4

    • No planning or marking is required.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence managing groups of students
  • Previous experience working with young people (school-based or similar desirable)
  • A flexible and proactive approach
