Secondary Schools | Bradford Full-Time, Part-Time & Ad Hoc Supply

Veritas Education are currently working in partnership with a number of secondary schools across the Bradford area and are seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor to support schools on a full-time or ad hoc basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor who is passionate about supporting students' learning and maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement in the classroom.

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering pre-set lesson plans in the absence of the class teacher
  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Ensuring a positive and safe learning environment
  • Supporting pupils to remain on task and engaged throughout lessons
  • Working across a range of subjects and year groups within secondary schools

    • The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor within secondary schools
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Confidence working independently and adapting to different school settings
  • A professional, reliable and flexible approach
  • A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
