Burnley & Surrounding Areas Day-to-Day Supply | Flexible Work

Are you looking to gain valuable experience in secondary education or seeking flexible work within local schools? We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to provide day-to-day classroom cover across secondary schools in Burnley and the surrounding areas.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure students remain on task
  • Maintain a positive learning environment and uphold school behaviour policies
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of the day

    • This is an ideal role for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education staff looking for flexible work.

    Requirements

  • Experience working with young people (school, youth work, coaching, or similar)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Confidence working with pupils aged 11-16 (KS3 & KS4)
  • A professional, calm, and reliable approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
