Complex Needs Teaching Assistant - Leeds
Have you worked in care or support-worker based roles previously? Have you supported a variety of different needs and disabilities across various age groups? Are you looking for a change in career, from Care settings, into education? If so, this could be the job for you!
The school:
Veritas are working with multiple SEN schools, based in Leeds, that support a variety of complex and learning needs for children from Early Years to Post 16+ age groups!
The school has fantastic facilities to support the needs of each child, a warm welcoming team of dedicated staff and creates a safe educational environment for everyone to attend!
The Role:
The role is to support all learners across their school day, during their lessons and throughout their day-to-day timetable around the school, whether that be in the classroom or in other areas, such as playgrounds, lunch areas or in physio/medical sessions!
Previous Care and Support Worker experience has proven to be really effective in SEN schools, being able to transfer previous skills and techniques over to a school-based setting. Personal or family experience too is great to bring into schools also!
