Your Opportunity:
As the Administration Officer, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to the Transition Officer team. Your work ensures that students in youth detention have the documented support necessary to successfully transition into employment, training, or education.
Key Responsibilities:
In addition to the Administration Officer role description, your responsibilities will include:
- Case Coordination Support: Assist Transition Officers in managing assigned cases by scheduling meetings with students, families, and external stakeholders.
- Records Management: Maintain up-to-date case file notes and digital record-keeping in accordance with Centre policies and legislative requirements to ensure reporting accuracy
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, registered training organisations (RTOs), and community support networks
- Data & Reporting: Assist in gathering and recording transition outcome data for managed young people to support organisational reporting and practice improvements

About You:
- Demonstrated experience with digital platforms, databases, learner management systems, Microsoft Excel and standard office systems.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- Well developed communication and documentation skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and quality service delivery.
- Experience in an education or training environment is desirable.
- Experience in a Youth Justice or Education setting is desirable
