William Bayldon Public School provides an inclusive and caring educational environment for all students. With a current enrolment of 190 students, of which 40% identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, we are committed to ensuring every child is known, valued and cared for.
Our students are from diverse socio-economic backgrounds and in 2020 we have 8 mainstream classes and 4 support classes (IO, IS, MC and AU).
Our school has a strong focus on Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) as well as innovative and creative approaches to engagement to improve wellbeing and attendance. Literacy and Numeracy for improved NAPLAN is a focus in our Strategic Directions.
William Bayldon is in it’s 4th year of Early Action for Success and has a strong focus on visible learning across the whole school. We are a proud member of the Bongil Bongil Community of Schools.
