Glen William Public School has
an enrolment of 35 students (including 40% Aboriginal Students). The school is
hidden in a beautiful rural setting of Glen William surrounded by the rolling
hills of the Dungog shire. The school hosts a K-2 multi-stage class and a 3-6
multi-stage class. The school continues to build on quality
teaching, learning and leadership practices, with a focus on improving
student results in literacy and numeracy. Glen William Public School is immersed within an active Learning
Community that provides rich virtual enrichment tasks across a number of
learning areas for example, STEM, Film, Literacy and Coding, and engages with
other small schools to explore collaborative learning.
The school has a highly
dedicated P&C body in which staff are focused on maintaining strong
partnerships between community and school. Significant programs include, L3 and
imaths, Resotorative Justice, Positive Behaviour for Learning and Sporting
Schools.
