Temora is located two and a half hours north west of Canberra and one hour north of Wagga Wagga.
Temora West Public School is a P1 school with a total of 112 students in seven classes including a Multi-Categorical class. It is an inclusive school dedicated to providing learning, cultural and sporting opportunities for all of our students.
Temora West Public School’s core business is the teaching of literacy and numeracy and both staff and parents have high expectations for student achievement with a focus on providing high quality, innovative teaching to encourage learning and personal development in all areas.
The Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) program is being implemented and encourages students to be accountable and take responsibility for their actions whilst also displaying the values of respect, honesty and empathy each day.
There is a range of experienced staff and a supportive community. The school has a P and C as well as an active and supportive School Council.
