SEA LIFE Mooloolaba (previously UnderWater World) provides students with a window to the aquatic biome, with stage-appropriate programs in a fun, learning environment. Students can learn about living things, habitats, adaptations, classification and marine conservation with curriculum-based worksheets and easy to use teacher resources. With a wide range of programs from Foundation and Primary through to Secondary and Tertiary, your students are sure to take home some insightful messages and loads of great memories.
Our ‘underwater’ classroom is perfect for a SEA-it-yourself excursion or an expert-led fully-guided tour. Our education team range from qualified teachers to dive instructors, so rest assured, your students are in safe hands and getting the best possible learning experience. Why not further enhance your students’ experience by adding on a Behind the Scenes tour, where students can learn more about our turtle rehabilitation program and how an aquarium operates. Additionally you could choose from one of our insightful presentations conducted in our Turtles in Trouble theatre.
If a day visit isn’t enough, you can stay overnight on one of our famous sleepovers under the Ocean Tunnel Walkthrough or amongst a kaleidoscope of colourful fish. If a sleepover isn’t what you fancy, a Twilight Tour will give you a glimpse into the nocturnal world of the sea, with a night trail in the dark and dinner in our cafe.
