Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary

Excursion / Last updated 4 years, 8 months ago

Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary is located in Manly, Sydney, just 200 metres from the Manly Ferry Wharf. Our attraction is a perfect excursion location for all age groups. We have an amazing array of animals including massive sharks, sea turtles, Little Penguins and huge stingrays.

Experience animal conservation in action at Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary and take an active part in our breed, rescue and protect program. We successfully breed some of our incredible local species; we are passionate about rescue, nursing animals back to health and releasing them back into the wild; and we endeavour to protect their natural habitats.

Our sanctuary provides students with the perfect opportunity to learn about, observe and interact with a wide variety of Australian marine life - including huge sharks, sea turtles and stingrays!

And with an experienced education officer, your students will benefit from their extensive knowledge of marine life and face-to-face teaching sessions focused on a selection of specialised topics. Free guided tours by our Marine Education Officers are available for groups over 35 students. Simply request a Marine Education Officer when making your booking! Groups under 35 students are self-guided. Students will also be able to participate in a number of free talks available each day including tunnel tours, Breed Rescue Protect talks and Penguin talks.

Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary provides an extensive range of curriculum-based study resources to enhance your school excursions. Our Student Booklets offer engaging learning opportunities to enhance your visit to the Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary. All resources are aligned to both the NSW Syllabus and Australian National Curriculum.

Located just 200m from Manly Wharf, Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary will inspire you to become a passionate protector of marine animals.
