Zoos Victoria is continuing these free online programs in Term 3 to support early childhood, primary and secondary teachers, young people and their families.
Zoo Education Online packages are time-savers. They include teaching guides, student activities and webinar workshops so that you can bring real-world learning into your curriculum. Designed by teachers for teachers, these programs build the knowledge and skills of young people, while showing them how apply their learning in real-life scenarios.
Webinars are hosted by zoo experts. These interactive workshops share stories and information about STEM, sustainability, animal welfare and conservation.
The STEM Design Challenge and Love Your Locals (Science and English) programs unleash student innovation and creative thinking. Students move through a step-by-step learning journey that leads to solutions to real-world wildlife issues.
Use Zoo Education Online to teach a unit of work, a week-long program or a special education event. These programs will ignite a love of learning during National Science Week (August 15-23) by connecting students to the wonders of animals and the natural world.
