Vic’s bilingual kindy program continues state’s nation-leading approach to languages

Victoria has long led the way on language education in this country, and that looks likely to extend well into the future, with the Allan Government last week announcing that 11 more early learning services have been offered places in the state’s highly regarded bilingual kindergarten program from Term 1, 2024.

To help children develop their language skills, as part of the bilingual kindergarten program, qualified language teachers incorporate language learning into fun everyday kinder activities such as singing, dancing, painting and storytelling.
